A Free VPN Service That Doesn't Disappoint
A VPN (short for Virtual Private Network) is a tunnel-like connection that allows users to surf the web and use web-based applications under a completely different IP address. VPNs are widespread and used by millions of people around the world.
The good services, of course, demand a fee to pay-off their server costs (tunneling thousands of people simultaneously isn’t an easy thing to do). But, as usual, there always is a free and usable alternative.
Here are a few free services that might keep you hidden:
The above examples are great for light web surfing and what-not, but the fact remains – people nowadays need more than surfing the web. Now, if this is the case, I suggest that you go ahead and buy yourself a premium VPN subscription. But if you’re not the type of person who spends his/her money like a shopaholic, there might be a viable solution.
UltraVPN is a free VPN service that performs on a way higher scale than your average free VPN. With UltraVPN, surfing has never been faster – in my case, exactly the same as my usual surfing speed with the VPN disabled.
Setting up a VPN is as simple as, if not simpler than stepping on a dead cockroach. All you need is the UltraVPN client and an account created on their homepage.
UltraVPN Client – Download
In this guide, I will walk you through the process of installing and setting up UltraVPN. Just buckle your seat belt and get ready to rumble.
Installing UltraVPN
After running the setup file you downloaded from the link above, this is what you should see on your screen.

Clicking “Next” will take you to the license agreement page. Make sure to click on “I Agree” (unless you’re a complete idiot).

Keep everything checked and continue to the next step.

Choose where you want to install UltraVPN to. I recommend installing it somewhere on your “C:\” drive.

Wait for the installation to complete, and click on “Next”.

Finally, click on “Finish” to close the installer dialog.

Creating an UltraVPN Account and Using It
Follow this link to the UltraVPN registration page.
Creating an account takes only a minute or two. Take a look at the picture below if you need some help. Make sure to click on “Create This Account” to submit your account information.

Now that you have your own UltraVPN account, run UltraVPN by double-clicking the UltraVPN icon on your Desktop.
A small box will prompt you to enter your account details. Click on “OK” when you’re done.

Wait for it to verify the connection between your computer and the VPN host. Once it’s successfully connected, you should have a small green monitor icon on your taskbar.
